The Microdrones team joins their distributor Cansel, in Vancouver, for the Unmanned Canada 2018 event from October 30 – November 1. Unmanned Canada 2018 is Canada’s premiere Unmanned Systems event focusing on sharing new technologies, policies and best practices shaping the aerial, marine and land-based unmanned vehicle sector. Unmanned Vehicle Systems are helping farmers, foresters, energy companies, educators, media-makers, researchers and governments innovate the way they do business.

Microdrones Distributor Cansel, helps businesses and organizations in the architecture, construction, engineering, mining, manufacturing, printing, surveying, utilities, forestry, and government sectors measure, analyze, design, and build more efficiently and profitably. Cansel's team of professionals combine software, hardware and services to provide tailored solutions to improve workflow, from field to finish.

Sebastien Long, Microdrones Sales Manager for the US Midwest, Northeast and Canada, will be on hand to talk about the three new systems that were recently launched in October:  mdLiDAR3000, mdMapper1000PPK and mdMapper1000+.

“Extending our product lineup adds to the options that our customers can choose from,” said Long. “On the job projects can change and diversify, so Microdrones offers a range of products to best accomplish the task needed. For example, you can start with mdMapper1000+, which is ideal for those who do not need DG or PPK and are willing to install ground control points on site for their projects. When or if the situation arises for fewer ground control points, use the mdMapper1000PPK to provide high accuracy with just 1-3 GCPs.  Or, our top-line entry, mdMapper1000DG, uses direct georeferencing where customers are able to save time by using fewer or no ground control points for less sidelap and more productivity.”

Sebastien and the team from Cansel will be at Unmanned Canada 2018 through November 1st to answer all your questions.
