The immensely versatile mdTector1000 CH4 is designed to survey natural gas lines, inspect tanks, test gas wells, monitor landfill emissions, and ensure plant safety. It is the ideal solution for detecting methane safely and conveniently from above, while a stabilized NADIR mounted camera allows operators to remotely view all the inspection activity and measurements in real-time.

Microdones engineered the mdTector1000 CH4 as a lightweight vehicle that can be easily deployed in almost any scenario. The aircraft has a flight range of 500m via remote control, and features a waypoint radius up to 20km. It is equipped with a robust Pergram sensor that boasts detection limits of 1 – 50,000 ppm × m, and a detection speed of 0.1 seconds.
