Microdrones is looking for a passionate and experienced C++ developer to work on our Windows software suite. The developer will be part of a young multidisciplinary dynamic agile team.

YOUR TASKS and responsibilties:
You are a new technology enthusiast and show interest for drones.
You will have a strong impact on technology choices.
You will be part of an agile/scrum team and you will contribute to tasks management.
You like to be challenged by your colleagues and you like to challenge them.
You will produce quality, readable and testable code.
You will make technical analysis on new requirements, prototype and implement them.
You will help product owners with technical decisions related to their products evolution.
You stay up-to-date with new technologies and good practices.
You value team work (advice, code reviews, peer programming, etc.) and you can carry on your tasks autonomously.
You know how to carry out a small project and know how to prioritise your tasks.
You don’t reinvent the wheel and you adhere to the open-source philosophy.
YOUR profile and SKILLS:
At least 5 years of experience with modern C++ (at least C++ 11).
At least 2 years of experience working with Qt.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented software design.
Strong knowledge of theS.O.L.I.Ddesign principles.
Strong unit testing skills.
Good knowledge of CMake.
Experience on refactoring legacy code base.
Experience with desktop software development on Windows.
Experience with version control system using Git.
Asset: embedded software development and communication with hardware (Bluetooth, Serial, etc.).
Asset: Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design.
Asset: Knowledge ofClean Code principles
Asset: Knowledge of geomatics libraries (GDAL, PCL, Eigen, etc.).
Asset: Knowledge ofConan (package management)
Asset: Continuous integration.
Must be fluent in English (written and oral). French is an asset
