Microdrones is seeking a talented engineering professional, with excellent communication, presentation and technical field experience to serve as Director of Customer Support
Working within the Microdrones Customer Support department, the successful candidate will build upon their own experience to develop, refine and lead a global customer support team.
The successful candidate will lead a talented team of customer support technicians to provide global support to all Microdrones customers. As such, the candidate should be a confident speaker and patient explainer and a talented troubleshooter. The candidate should have education in the field of Engineering, ideally Geomatics, or an equivalent experience.

YOUR TASKS and responsibilties:
Coordinate the efforts of customer support with internal and external demands.
Manage Microdrones “as a Service (aaS)” rental fleet.
Develop and implement procedures for better handling of customer support.
Develop strategies to increase the quality and efficiency of support to customers.
Ensure all customer support requests (internal and external) are handled in an accurate and timely fashion.
Maintain in-depth working knowledge of the company’s systems and processes.
Develop and monitor business metrics to measure and manage customer support effectiveness.
Represent Microdrones with key clients and deal with high profile customer support related topics.
Manage hiring, training, retention and performance of team members.
Coordinate with other functions (R&D, Production, Flight Operations, Geomatics, Sales, etc.) as required.
YOUR profile and SKILLS:
Bachelor of Engineering (Geomatics, Civil, Mechanical, or other) or experience equivalent
Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting mentality and ability to manage multiple issues with tight time constraints.
Experience in the drone industry (sales, operations, customer support)
Experience in Geomatics Data Processing such as photogrammetry and/or LiDAR
Strong communication skills in verbal and written
Proficiency in English; French, German, Spanish or Chinese is an asset
