ELECTRICAL ENGINEER INTERN – PRODUCT INTEGRATION

As part of product development and integration, under the supervision of the systems integration manager, the candidate will be:

  • Design of electronic circuits
  • Embedded programming
  • Construction of prototypes of electronic circuits and systems
  • Testing of new aerial systems and sensors
  • Analyzing test results and adjusting design as required
  • Planning and documentation activities 
  • Assembling prototype systems
  • Documenting fabrication procedures
  • Developing user manuals 
     
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be currently enrolled in a fulltime degree in Electrical and Computer engineering / Mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of the design of electronic circuits, e.g. with Eagle
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing of electronic circuits
  • Experience in SMD soldering
  • Experience in instrumentation
  • Experience in embedded programming of microcontrollers in C/C++, e.g. on Cortex‑M
  • Desirable: Experience using data processing tools, such as MATLAB
  • Desirable: Expertise in one or more of the following fields: sensor technology, radio technology, drive technology, power electronics, battery technology, structural mechanics
  • Fluent in French and English, Spanish an asset 
  • Highly flexible and motivated
  • Independent, structured approach to your work
  • Able to cooperate well with colleagues and work well as part of a team  
  • Experience with CNC machines an asset
  • Knowledge of 3D design tools such as Solidworks an asset
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good technical writing abilities
  • UAV experience or interest an asset
  • Good (Word, Excel).
     
CONDITIONS
  • 40h / week
  • Workplace located in Vaudreuil-Dorion
