ELECTRICAL ENGINEER INTERN – PRODUCT INTEGRATION
As part of product development and integration, under the supervision of the systems integration manager, the candidate will be:
Design of electronic circuits
Construction of prototypes of electronic circuits and systems
Testing of new aerial systems and sensors
Analyzing test results and adjusting design as required
Planning and documentation activities
Assembling prototype systems
Documenting fabrication procedures
Developing user manuals
Must be currently enrolled in a fulltime degree in Electrical and Computer engineering / Mechanical engineering
Knowledge of the design of electronic circuits, e.g. with Eagle
Knowledge of the manufacturing of electronic circuits
Experience in SMD soldering
Experience in instrumentation
Experience in embedded programming of microcontrollers in C/C++, e.g. on Cortex‑M
Desirable: Experience using data processing tools, such as MATLAB
Desirable: Expertise in one or more of the following fields: sensor technology, radio technology, drive technology, power electronics, battery technology, structural mechanics
Fluent in French and English, Spanish an asset
Highly flexible and motivated
Independent, structured approach to your work
Able to cooperate well with colleagues and work well as part of a team
Experience with CNC machines an asset
Knowledge of 3D design tools such as Solidworks an asset
Good organizational skills
Good technical writing abilities
UAV experience or interest an asset
Good (Word, Excel).
