The Accounting Technician will involve in the daily business of the company, such as purchases, sales, bank, tax and reporting, and report to the Financial Controller, America.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Monitor, manage sales orders process from Jira Atlassian (task manager) to Navision
  • Create invoices from sales orders and send them to the clients upon delivery of products
  • Ensure shipping costs and other miscellaneous expenses charged back to the clients where applicable
  • Apply customer payments by checks, credit cards or electronic methods
  • Follow up with customers in case of payment discrepancies and disputes on prices
  • Follow up with clients on time for collections and outstanding invoices
  • Reconcile the account receivable accounts to the general ledger
  • Reconcile credit cards for multiple entities
  • Work closely with the shipping and production departments to follow up on changes in purchase orders
  • Work closely with accountants in other locations for intercompany transactions
  • Send statements to customers at the end of the month and resolve any disputes
  • Participate in month-end closing, analysis and journal entries
  • Participate in annual budget process and analysis of variances
  • Participate in other accounting tasks as needed

Your profile and skill:
  • You are a bilingual English and French speaker.
  • You have at least a diploma in accounting.
  • You have at least five years of accounting experience in an operational or preferably manufacturing environment.
  • You are detailed-oriented and willing to collaborate with other departments.
  • You can operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can deal with volumes of transactions.
  • You have a good capability of multi-tasking and juggle priorities.
  • You are a fast learner in learning new technologies.
  • You have good Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision / Jira Atlassian or similar ERP and task manager.
