Microdrones, a fast-paced professional UAS company (with offices in Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Dubai, China and USA), produces and distributes sophisticated and reliable Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones) for professional applications such as Aerial Surveying and Mapping, Inspection and Agriculture. Microdrones is expanding ist operations and seeking a Sales Manager, North America to support all the sales and business development activities in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing salesstrategies and approaches (dealer and direct sales) that will help us achieve our short to long-term revenue targets by developing new business as well asbuilding up the relationshipswith dealers/resellers and key accounts in North America.
As a part of the North America Sales Team you are operating with the mdOffice in Canada and US and working closely with the Sales Director Americas.
Meet or exceed short to long-term revenue targets by developing new business;
Be involved in every stage of the B2B sales transactions as well as developing the dealers and key accounts for South-West Europe;
Use your professional marketing, selling and organizational skills to identify and qualify appropriate product solutions for existing and potential customers;
Provide completed sales forecasts and other activity feedback in a timely manner;
Ensure a high-level of customer satisfaction is achieved to assist in customer retention and market expansion;
Support other territory representatives and managers in the enhancement of revenues and expanding market share.
University or college degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in promoting and selling technical products and solutions in a related industry; Aerial Surveying and Mapping, Inspection and Agriculture, or UAS/UAV is a plus
Experience in the North America markets
Clear communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal – Speaking French, Spanish and/or any other language is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
Ability to assess accounts and provide viable, cost effective solutions
Strong customer service orientation
Experience conducting B2B sales transactions from start to finish
Can do attitude with a passion for technology and drones would definitely be an asset
