This Position can be based anywhere in Northern Europe
Microdrones, a fast-paced professional UAS company (with offices in Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Dubai, China and the US), produces and distributes sophisticated and reliable Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones) for professional applications such as Aerial Surveying and Mapping, Inspection and Agriculture. Microdrones is expanding its operations and seeking a Sales Manager, Northern Europe to support all the sales and business development activities in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies and approaches (dealer and direct sales) that will help us achieve our short to long-term revenue targets by developing new business as well as building up the relationships with dealers/resellers and key accounts in Northern Europe.
As a part of the EMEA Sales Team you are operating with the mdOffice in Germany and working closely with and reporting to the VP Global Sales.
Meet or exceed short to long-term revenue targets by developing new business;
Be involved in every stage of the B2B sales transactions as well as developing the dealers and key accounts for Northern Europe (United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, etc.);
Use your professional marketing, selling and organizational skills to identify and qualify appropriate product solutions for existing and potential customers;
Provide completed sales forecasts and other activity feedback in a timely manner;
Ensure a high-level of customer satisfaction is achieved to assist in customer retention and market expansion;
Support other territory representatives and managers in the enhancement of revenues and expanding market share.
University or college degree or equivalent work experience; ideally in the field of geomatics technology;
Experience in promoting and selling technical products and solutions in a related industry; Survey Equipment, Aerial Surveying and Mapping, Inspection and Agriculture, or UAS/UAV;
Experience in the Northern European markets (United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, etc.);
Clear communication and presentation skills in English, written and verbal – Speaking any other European language is a plus;
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize;
Ability to assess accounts and provide viable, cost effective solutions;
Strong customer service oriented;
Experience conducting B2B sales transactions from start to finish;
Ideally, based in Northern Europe;
Can do attitude with a passion for technology and drones would definitely be an asset.
