YOUR TASKS and responsibilties:
Take responsibility for the incoming inspection and reception log.
Stock the parts received and segregate them accordingly.
Interact daily with the ERP system.
Maintain records for inventory cycle count.
Perform the packaging and shipping preparation of partly “Dangerous goods” classified items (Flight batteries).
Check conformity and process documentation in an organized and timely manner.
Be receptive to assist production during periods of high or low demand: (preparation / automatic tools/handling works).
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Mandatory wear of personal protection equipment.
Replace your department coworkers during vacation.
Perform all other duties the supervisor deems necessary. You may be required to perform any other task requested by your team leader or supervisor.
YOUR profile and SKILLS:
You are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
You have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience.
You must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
Open-mindedness, flexibility, versatility, and a team player
Adaptability, learning, and problem-solving skills
Good manual dexterity, meticulousness, and resourcefulness
Ease with computers (Microsoft office)
You are customer-oriented.
You can lift up to 50lbs.
Ideally, you hold a “Dangerous Goods” certificate.
Regular work schedule is 40 hours per week, but business demands could require mandatory overtime. The candidate, therefore, must have a flexible schedule.
Prior experience with ERP software (Navision) will be an asset.
