The Fall Trade Show Tour Continues in Mexico
The Fall trade show tour continued with a stop in Hermasillo, Mexico where the Microdrones team partnered with their distributor, Precisión GPS, for the 13th annual Sonora International Mining Congress.
Originally created in 1995, the Mining Congress served as a local event where regional mining companies showcased their advancements and services. Throughout the years, the event has grown into one of the 5 largest mining trade shows in Latin America. Microdrones and Precisión GPS were one of 253 exhibitors presenting to more than 3,700 expected attendees.
Microdrones Distributor Precisión GPS has been operating for the past 22 years, providing high tech equipment, products, and services to Mexican civil engineers, architects and survey trade customers.
Jesús Zenteno, Microdrones Regional Sales Manager, represented the Microdrones team along with Sales Director, Chuck Dorgan. Zenteno said, “This was a great opportunity for us to partner with Precisión GPS and showcase our products and discuss our full lineup of solutions and systems for mining, mapping, surveying and structural inspection. Precisión GPS is one of largest distributors in the region and this will help lead to many new prospects here.”
Dorgan agreed, “It’s always great to get our equipment and solutions in front of people to see and touch. We brought an mdMapper1000 to showcase, which gives us a great launching pad for discussing our three new systems that were recently launched in October: mdLiDAR3000, mdMapper1000PPK and mdMapper1000+. It’s also important to note the people that are supporting all this new technology. We’re very proud of having a team that helps train and follow through with our distributors to make sure they have all the tools they need to sell our products to the end user.”
