GeoDays 2019 was an opportunity for customers and geospatial experts to learn how to make drones a part of their Surveying, Mapping, LiDAR and inspection work. Microdrones experts were on hand to show how our integrated systems create powerful data deliverables like 3D pointclouds, orthomosaics, or methane inspection concern maps.
In addition, the Microdrones team conducted flight demonstrations, product presentations, and a facility tour of their new 2080 sqm. (22,000 sq. ft.) facility in Siegen, Germany.

The new facility offers spacious offices and conference areas as well as a convenient flight test field complete with easily accessible diverse terrain and vegetation for testing LiDAR, photogrammetry, multispectral and R&D applications. Functions performed here are related to production, software development, hardware, engineering, purchasing, flight ops and administration.
