Meet the new Drone LiDAR and Photogrammetry Sales Manager at Microdrones


Kristofer Kelley is the newest member of the Microdrones sales team. Here’s a brief mdTeam spotlight video featuring Kris.

Kris has more than 15 years of experience in the geospatial industry with a background in managing, marketing and developing remote sensing projects.  He’s worked throughout the world on UAV applications for emergency response, resource management, military and civil industries. His UAV background and experiences have afforded him the unique capability to accommodate technical as well as business and marketing strategies for high-end industry drone applications.

At Microdrones, Kris will act as the regional sales manager for the Midwest United States and Canada, servicing and selling both the GE industrial drone line and the Microdrones Expert drone line as well as industry leading data processing software.

The knowledge and experience that Kris brings to the team at Microdrones is a great fit. “Before working with Microdrones, I was working heavily with the Department of Defense as a contractor,” explained Kris.  “I worked on several programs overseas, mainly manned aviation with LiDAR.”

As part of his job responsibilities, Kris will continue to nuture and grow relationships with existing distributors of the Microdrones network within his territory while also cultivating new distributors and drone surveying customers.

“I’m really there to keep them rolling,” offers Kris.  “I’m the guy that wants to see them succeed, because our success is fed off of their success.”
