Microdrones and GeoCue Showcase New Drone LiDAR Technology and Software at Geo Week 2023

For three days at Geo Week 2023, the GeoCue and Microdrones booth was buzzing with activity. Besides having a larger presence at this year’s conference, the team had a presentation section on the back side of the booth for mini seminars throughout each day.

In addition, attendees were very interested to see the two new drone LIDAR systems from GeoCue, the TrueView 535 and TrueView 720, along with the 3D Accuracy Star add-on software and Accuracy Star Hardware for LP360 Drone.

Chuck Snow, our Eastern Sale Representative, said this year’s show was a great success. “Geo Week is a great conference to meet industry professionals and experts.  We were able to generate a lot of interest in our new products and software, touch base with old and new customers, and managed to have a little fun, too.”

The video below captures some of the activity, presentation panels, and new products and software that GeoCue and Microdrones showcased at Geo Week 2023.

LiDAR continues to be one of the main areas of interest throughout Geo Week, and the Microdrones and GeoCue team answered many questions about the capabilities and benefits of our full range of drone LiDAR products and software.

At the event, the TrueView product line was on display including the new TrueView 720 and TrueView 535.  Both systems feature a 3rd nadir camera, improving the quality of photogrammetry.  Also on display was the new Accuracy Star, which is a target especially designed for drone LiDAR projects to be installed on your tripod. When used with 3D Accuracy Add-on in LP360, you can achieve automated vertical and horizontal accuracy checks and improvements.

Vincent Legrand, the VP of Sales noted that these new products were well received at the event. “This next-gen hardware and software provide the solutions our customers are looking for.  You can talk with any of our sales representatives about purchasing these products, which will be available beginning March 1st.”

As seen at Geo Week, now more than ever Microdrones and GeoCue can meet customers where they are in terms of technology adoption, budget and resources. If you were not able to attend Geo Week, but have questions about our new LiDAR products and software, schedule a time to talk with one of our representatives to learn more.
