Ensuring Our Customers Soar: 3 Ways Microdrones Helps Users Succeed

Microdrones may offer the best UAV mapping solutions on the market, but if our users don’t succeed, we don’t succeed. Drone use is a completely new practice for most of the customers we work with. Nearly every single client is learning as they go. We know that it is critical that we support them — and we’re dedicated to offering our assistance every step of the way.

There are lots of ways that Microdrones supports our customers. Below are three of the most significant ones:

1. mdAcademy Training: Get Off the Ground Right
This training includes classroom education to gain in-depth knowledge about systems and safety, field training to learn to fly, mdCockpit software training to learn to plan, monitor, and analyze missions, and more hands-on field instruction on flying with specific payloads.

To get our customers started, we offer our mdAcademy training program.

This training includes classroom education to gain in-depth knowledge about systems and safety, field training to learn to fly, mdCockpit software training to learn to plan, monitor, and analyze missions, and more hands-on field instruction on flying with specific payloads.

Once this training is complete, users can take additional training on more advanced payloads like direct georeferencing and LiDAR. They can also take our Train the Trainer course, developed to prepare you to teach others to use Microdrones systems.

“We’re constantly improving our training programs based on customer feedback and our ever-evolving product offering,” said Francis Pelletier, Microdrones Technical Support Lead. “Taking this course is a great way to get started on a path to success when you purchase a Microdrones system.”

2. Technical Support: Quick and Responsive Help When You Need It
Don’t worry. Microdrones is always here to help. Just get in touch and we’ll do everything in our power to get you the information and/or parts you need.

You completed your trainings. You’ve flown several missions. Suddenly, you run into a technical issue. Now what?

To contact the Microdrones technical support team, simply fill out a support ticket in the Clients Only section of the Microdrones website. Because we have service staff around the globe, we are very responsive and able to offer quick support for our customers.

“We are very systematic and committed in our approach to addressing customer needs,” explained Francis. “We work hard to help you get the answers you need very quickly. We usually resolve our customers’ problems within one business day.”

3. Media Attention: We Want to Tell Your Story
As a Microdrones UAV user, you are a cutting-edge leader in your field – and we want to get you attention for that! We would love to write and market an article for you about the ways you are using our systems, a cool project you completed, obstacles you’ve overcome, or any other success you’ve achieved with a Microdrones UAV.

How does it work?
If you’re currently using a Microdrones UAV and would like us to write and publish a story about it, contact our Content Marketing Managers.

They will collect the details of your story in a pain-free conversation over the phone, collect images from you, and then pull it all together into a professional, high-quality article. You’ll have full control over what the public sees as your final approval will be required before distributing the piece.

Some of our customer success stories have gotten the attention of writers at leading industry publications like Inside Unmanned Systems and xyHt magazine. Here’s an example of an article we wrote for our friends at Raecon Industries, highlighting a challenging inspection project they completed using a Microdrones UAV. This story was featured in both xyHt’s print magazine and online and shared widely on social media, earning the company web traffic and attention.

“We love to tell our customers’ stories,” said our Content Marketing Managers. “They are accomplishing great things with our systems. Together we are making work more efficient, profitable, accurate, and safe. We want to tell the world about it.”
