Microdrones and AllTerra at The Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors 2018 Annual Convention

As Sales Manager for Microdrones in the Southern U.S., Matt Rosenbalm is a busy man. Adoption of Microdrones systems has been particularly strong in this region and Matt ensures that his customer base is supported with training, demos, customer service and event support.

Rosenbalm explains, “Martin Instruments and Western Data Systems have joined forces to become AllTerra Central here. The Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors event was perfect timing to get in front of professional surveyors and to show them the new systems that are available from Microdrones.”

At the Microdrones booth, a Microdrones mdLiDAR1000 demo unit drew the crowd to learn more and ask questions. The system was officially revealed and demonstrated last month at the ILMF ASPRS conference in Denver, Colorado. Rosenbalm also attended that event and said, “Wherever I travel, whatever the event, people make it a priority to seek us out and ask questions. They’re surprised at how simple the workflow is and excited about buying one integrated system, from one company that has done the work to tie it all together perfectly.”  (For those of you who want to see the workflow in action, we’ve created this quick video blog demo. )

With a bustling oil and gas industry throughout the region, the team from AllTerra is also seeing big interest in the mdTector1000CH4 methane gas inspection system from Microdrones. Late last year, Mike Minick and Will Wilburn from AllTerra (at the time, Martin Instrument) teamed up with Matt Rosenbalm from Microdrones to produce this video about the methane detection solution:
