The Microdrones World Tour continues and we join our sales team as they travel throughout the world, touring local and regional trade shows representing Microdrones and their suppliers.
SITECH CONSTRUCTION LIVE (SCL) in Hamburg
In the beginning of February, Samuel Flick, Microdrones European Sales Manager, was back on the road in Hamburg, Germany to attend the SITECH CONSTRUCTION LIVE (SCL). SCL is currently making the rounds throughout Germany hosting trade shows for the construction industry. Samuel has been following the tour to represent Microdrones and to support our dealer SITECH Germany.
In Hamburg, Samuel gave another presentation about Microdrones integrated solutions and fielded questions from the audience. He said, “At this event, we had quite a few questions about the laws and regulations governing the use of drones in Germany. Overall, the reception for Microdrones was very positive and a great source for new leads."
Trimble Express Allterra in Mindelheim
A few weeks after the stop in Hamburg, Samuel traveled to Mindelheim, Germany for the Trimble Express Allterra Trade Show. The Trimble Express continues it’s 2019, 18 city trek across Germany, showcasing trade booths, presentations, expert lectures and networking opportunities.
In addition to supporting our dealer, Allterra, Samuel maintained a presence for Microdrones at the event. The Microdrones workflow, was a popular subject. Samuel said, “Some of the surveyors I met with were very interested in our flight planning software and learning about our workflow: Plan, Fly, Process and Visualize. I like to emphasize that the Microdrones approach is a complete Integrated Solution with customer support from start to finish. Our goal is to create partnerships and help solve problems for our customers."
North Carolina Society of Surveyors Annual Conference
During the same weekend, Matt Rosenbalm, Sales Manager for Microdrones in the Southern U.S., attended the 2019 North Carolina Society of Surveyors Annual Conference. The North Carolina Society of Surveyors is the only professional organization in NC representing surveyors throughout the state and actively deals with issues affecting the surveyor on local, state and national levels.
The event was an excellent opportunity for Matt to meet and get in front of the Land Surveyors of North Carolina. Matt said, “We’ve had some great success in North Carolina over the past year with new mdLiDAR3000 users in the state. I was able to speak with many prospects who had heard about or observed these new systems from our new customers. In turn, this has opened many doors and allows us to share our vision and show how our systems can help improve workflows and efficiencies.”
Expression of Measuring Technologies 2019 in Lithuania
In Lithuania, Microdrones Eastern European Sales Manager, Dominik Wójcik, attended the conference Expression of Measuring Technologies 2019, sponsored by Trimble Express & GeoNovus. Geodesists, surveyors, and other industry specialists attended the event, where Dominik was able to present the Microdrones portfolio and focus on LiDAR usage scenarios.
Dominik said, “At the conference, I fielded lots of questions about usage and pricing for our products, especially our mdLiDAR integrated systems. Many of the attendees are beginning to see the impact that drone-based LiDAR is having in the geospatial community and wanted to know more about the efficiency of data collection and deliverables."
